Flooding?

Ok...ive found that when starting my bike, if i turn on the gas and then kick it over, it'll run for 2-3 seconds and slowly die (doesnt matter if ur giving it any gas or not) BUT it you keep the gas off, it will kick over, run for 10 seconds and eventually die...then when you turn on the gas, it runs fine

im guessing that there's gas left over in the cylinder from the previous ride. how can i stop this problem

ive tried to turn off the gas like 10 minutes before i stop ridding (to burn it off) but that didnt work

drain all the left over fuel out of the carb when you're done riding.

Have you checked your floats? If the valve isn't closing when the bowl fills up it will cause fuel to leak into your carb.
