We went to the FMX show in Columbia this past Saturday.  Cowboy Kenny Bartram "won" it both nights.

How'd you like Cowboy's bunny-hop up the face of the jump, into a full stoppie down the landing side, then into a 180 spin at the bottom?

The guy has trials-like balance and is ultra-smooth on a bike. Says he makes more money doing a few FMX events than he did all year racing SX/AX.

Thanks, guys! I was surprised most of the pictures came out as well as they did considering we were up in the cheap seats.

CR, you're right, that whip was amazing...he's almost to the landing and still backwards!

George...:) When are we going to ride again? (I promise I won't bleed all over your bike, again!)

SD...He was obviously at a different level than most of the other guys. To be honest, though, every one of them was impressive. The arena is small, but they managed to squeeze in those two jumps and the guys had to land almost on the brakes to make the turns.

Nice pics Mike, where were you sitting? The tour stops in Greenville on the 14th and 15th and I will be snapping pictures like crazy. Also about your camera, what did you have your iso set to, and what kind of zoom does your camera have?

We were in the upper deck, row 8. I think I had it set for 800. It has 2 or 3 optical and another 2 or 3 digital, but I disabled the digital.

It was mostly on auto so I'll have to check the settings because I might have been letting it do the ISO setting automatically, too. If that was the case, it would have used a slower speed to compensate for the semi dark conditions.

That's my problem, my camera only goes up to 400, at the sx I made the pictues brighter by turning the exposure compensation to +0.5 and it worked alot better. Most of my shots turn out like a big blob, but some turned out ok.

That's a pretty good picture!

I checked and mine also only goes to ISO 400, but I had it set to "auto".

Cool pix Gomer! Great shots of Kenny. The Rock Solid is (yes, I have to say it) SICK! What a crazy trick. KennyWhip is a great whip too... I don't think RC can even hang with that. Nice form on Clip6. Clip10 - ahhh... the stripper. :confused:

Great pics! One guy didn't hit the brakes soon enough Friday night and went hard into the bales. :scream: On the end with the berm they were getting a lot of tire spin causing some to bail on thier run to the jump.

Kenny rocks, very smooth Friday night as well. The other guy doing the whip was incredible. He landed one when everyone (including the other riders) thought he was he was gonna crash for sure. Then he busted off two more just like the first for fun. :thumb:
