Looks good!!

I love those Conti's...... on dry pavement. I have them on the 650 right now. I've thought of grooving them a little for the wet, but in winter I spoon on Avon rain slicks....

Everyone I talked to raved about the Contis, so I figured I couldn't go wrong.

I'm not aggressive enough to need slicks so these should work fine. I figure I'll wobble around a few track days on it, and tear up a few local parking lots. Nothing too serious, just goofin around. I'm interested to see how it handles with the 17's and the 5" DTX suspension drop. It worked incredibly well on hard packed dirt and on asphalt with the 19" wheels and Goodyear DT tires. Jeremy Wilkey really outdid himself with this setup. I just wish I could ride like 89r so I could show people how good a package it is.

I'm building a downpipe for it too, just for grins.

That's a nice washer/ dryer combo you got there, Rich. :) What kind of detergent do you use? Those towels look they're holding their color well. Or are they just new?

I took this out for a little street thrashing over the weekend. As much fun as it was with the 19" dirt track wheels, it's just insanely fun with the 17"s. It snaps over to dragging the pegs with just the thought of turning. The lowered DTX suspension feels much more stable, and confidence inspiring on asphalt than my full size YZF444 SuperMoto ever did, and the YZF suspension had a brilliant package that Jeremy Wilkey built for me. But he really outdid himself with the DTX suspension on the CRF. This is a way better bike than I'll ever be a rider. :)

Stop. Don't tell me another thing. Do you know the trouble you can cause here?

That looks awesome. I've sold my 640, but when I had it I put Conti's on and they flat out ruled....who needs slicks...anyway.
I used them for track days a couple of times, and while obviously not a slick, still freakin great!!! Any and all troubles on the track were certainly not tire induced, but rider error.
