Make sure you bring a map and stay on designated trails until you get comfortable with the area.
The place is very big and you can get lost easily. If you stay on trails you should be okay.
Everytrail loops back a camp site so you do not need to worry.
Make sure you bring a map and a hydration pack because some trails take a while and you can get tired quickly.
The best time to go is about 2 days after a good rain. The ground will be tacky and there will be no dust. If it has not rained in a while the trails will be really dusty.
