Fork protection

Hey everyone. Hows it going? I was wondering if anyone has ever put a replacement for there ole fork boots on conventional forks. I have a buddy who has put some Scotts product on his and they are really neat. I also seen a product by Seal Savers, that is smaller version of the Scotts, but pretty much the same thing will the small one, leaving more fork exposed cause problems? If you guys or gals have done another trick with the fork boots tell me. Thanks and take care.

My SRC fork brace (for an XR4) came with "slider" guards, which I supplemented with neophrene wraps. The package looks great and seems very protective. I know Acerbis makes the slider guards and several sources are carrying the neophrene.
