Fork spring rate question

looking to get a new set of springs for the YZ, but I have a question: I went to race tech web site and did the spring rate calculator and found their suggested rate for me and my riding style, but I have one question. being that I will be doing alot of riding in the sand should I go with a softer spring for the softer sandy surface? or should I stick with what they reccomend and just adjust the compression and rebound..

well took the bike out today in the sand and everything worked fine. although the sand was wet it still worked good. still have to ride in some dry sand and make my adjustments...
