found a KTM 250 at my local yammy shop

ok like the title says i was at my local Yamaha shop yesterday picking up a battery for a 74 Honda XL175 enduro bike. and i saw a 95 KTM 250 for sale there. but its not an EXC. all it said on the sign was 1995 KTM 250 $1750. now is that a 2 stroke or 4? it does have some scratches on it, and the big fat pipe on the front of the engine has a couple of little dents in it. but for $1750 i think thats a pretty good damn deal. what do you guys think?

If it has a fat pipe coming out of the engine than it would be a 2-stroke. 2-stokes have big headers, but not so big silencers.

I dont think that is the best deal. I imagine you could get an 01-02 250 2-sroke for around $2,000.

i think thats a good deal and as for getting a 01-02 250 2-stroke there is no way you can get one up here for that price

It sounds like a reasonable deal, but it is a 250 two-stroke. Have you ever ridden before?

i think that if you dont know the difference bewteen a 2 st and a 4st you arent ready for a 250 2st
