I think what he meant was that performance four stroke bikes tend to have more/bigger problems if you don't keep up steady maintenence on them. Two strokes need to be rebuilt every year, but when something goes wrong, its usually an easy and cheap fix.
Dirtbiker, I'd say stay with two stroke unless you are planning on getting a full on MX four-stroke. A trail oriented bike will feel way slower than your YZ80 and will most likely feel alot heavier. Unless of course, you jump up to 250 trail bike or something like that. And then, you have the issue of keeping up maintenence on the MX four-stroke machine, if that bothers you.
