I have a 2001 KDX 200. What is the smallest front and largest rear sprocket that I can use without causing problems with binding or excessive wear on the chain guides?

I just put a 50T rear on and it looks like that's about it without messing with the stock guide.I still have the stock 13T on the front. It's a great combo for the woods.

I've got 14/50, which is real close to stock, and it's easy to switch the front to a 13 for tighter stuff.

I just changed my 2001/200 to a 12 front , rear stock 47, This works very well in tight woods and long uphills, Didn't seen to affect top speed that much..

Here's a question for all yoy technos. I am wanting some more snap and have a stock 47 tooth rear and have been kicking around the idea of getting a 50 tooth rear sprocket. By decreasing the front to a 12 tooth from stock 13 tooth: will this have the same effect as a 13/50 combo?

12/47 is very close to the same ratio as 13/50.

12/47 uses 108 links and 13/50 uses 110 links.
