front brakes!

please help fast! my front brake seems to be catching when i roll the bike, the lever is not being pushed at all. what do i do? bleed the brakes? how? i noticed a very small amount of surface rust, do i need to sand that off? i dont know a thing about brakes, please type slowly lol!

Is it constant dragging or does it just hang up in one spot? If its constant try opening the bleeder screw on the caliper and see if any fluid comes out.

i got it :) my brakes had rusted because i rode in water yesterday

i would also see the condition of the brake pads they could be out or close to out, my back brake pads had worn all the way down and the only reason i noticed was because i had turned it off doing WOT to check jetting and heard it scraping alot

check the brake pins to see if they are grooved... if yes (the more likely answer) replace them...
