Hi all!

A couple of weeks ago I did some work on my forks. When I reinstalled them, I torqued the fork clamp bolts to the specs in the manual (14.5 pounds on top, 18 on the bottom). Last weekend I noticed that that my handle-bar and front wheel were not pointing in the same direction! Straightening them out was quite easy, but this had to be done a couple of times during the day. Should I tighten up the clamp bolts a little more?

Loosen the axle pinch bolts and the axle nut and both sets of triple clamp bolts a little then line everything up and retorque. Some people put a pane of glass on their forks from the front to make sure everything is square.
