Can you give me any info,What time does it start? Where is it at ? How do I get there from Bourbonnais,IL? What classes do they have? You know all the info that would be needed for me to know. I have never heard of this race. And might attend. thanks for the info

:) Hi I am Carl L. and I just recieved a call in regards to the Frozen Toe play event to be held at Tri City MC on Sunday 1-27-02. This is a HS that pays NO distric points and is for fun. I do highly recomend studs, we do route non studded guys around most of the hills but riding on frozen ground without studs can be rather slippery. We vote at the riders meetting on how long to race - usually 1 hr is enough fun. I have asked for a map to be put on our club website at www.tricitym-c.com . This is a race on our club ground and there is no need for lights or spark arrester. Food will be served after the event - hot dogs, chilli, & hot chocolate - the food is free.
Gate fee = 0
one day membership - $20.00 Required for new or non current members
race fee = 0
I will post the status of the event on Saturday 1-26-02 - it is possible that the event may be cancelled if the weather does not cooperate - warm & muddy.
We do not want to cut deep ruts in our trails - I hope you guy will understand.

Frozen Toe Cancelled
:( The Frozen Toe has been CANCELLED due to the soft muddy ground conditions at our club. I am sorry to have to do this but the damage to the parking areas and trails takes alot longer to repair than a fun race is worth. I ran a HS quite a few years ago that should have been cancelled and had ruts that you could not rire thru due to your foot pegs dragging in them. At this time there are no plans to have a thaw date!
