FRP Upper Handle Bar Clamp

FRP's website list the FRP Upper Handle Bar Clamp as working with the 86-88 & 95-02KDX. Any reason it wouldn't work on the 89-94 KDX 200's? I'd love to get rid of my crappy fixed rearward pointing top clamp. If anybody has used it on a E series bike i'd love to hear it.

Doh! After looking at it further it looks like this is just a bar clamp, not a whole top triple clamp like I thought. Is this the case?
