gas cap

I am having a hard time finding a replacement gas cap for my 1988 kdx200. Checked out salvage yards and even went to a kawasaki dealer who looked the part up and sold me one that doesn't fit. Anyone have any suggestions? Are there any aftermarket caps available? I have heard that some Honda caps may work but couldn't verify that. I am in the Toronto area. thx.

I am in the very same predicament you are except my dealer doesnt have any freakin caps!! So I went to denniskirk.com and looked up a filter for a 1994 CR250R and it is speeding my direction tomorrow via UPS. The cap cost 17.99 and is made by UFO. Do a search for caps using a Honda 94 CR250 and you should find the right one. Good luck.
