Gear: difference between product lines?

I currently have a mix of O'neal and MSR gear. I like the look of the O'neal stuff better, so I would like to go all the same and get O'neal. I have been looking at the Hardware and Method lines. My question is: what is the difference between lines (Oneal has Elements, Method, and Hardware, all the manufacturers have a few different "levels") besides graphics and price? Are they made of better materials and more durable? Or just marketed as "high-end"? I don't want to go with the high-cost stuff if it is the same as the gear that costs less.

Thanks,
Andy

I doubt they are more durable, but the higher end stuff usually vents better than the lower. This has usuallly been the case with most of the gear I've seen. Like most less expensive jerseys are made of cotton. And the higher end ones made of polyester, which IMO vent better. And like MSR System X pants, you can get them in the vented style. As where the Rage you don't have the option.
