What type/brand of glue would one use to glue a new seat foam to the base? An aerosol something or other maybe?

I second the 3M heavy duty spray adhesive. Can be picked up at Home Depot for around $8.

Hope this helps, Steve.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was thinking. Just never done it before.

See you in OK Randy.

3rd on the 3M! I think what used was weatherstrip adhesive. Spray both sides, let it tack up, apply foam.
A little dab'll do ya!

I have used both the 3m spray and the 3m yellow weatherstpip adhesive. Both are excellent. I like the spray for installing grips too.

I use it for grips too. Very slippery for about 2 minutes. Plenty of time to position the grip. Dry enough to ride in 5-10 minutes.

Probably the same stuff, but I use the 3M grip glue in the tube. I have some "off-brand" spray adhesive that I tried that didn't work well at all.
