I've got the same setup on my 300EXC. I agree, more bottom end. Before that I had the Burly pipe. Sometimes I would prefer a little more power on top, but overall I'm satisfied.
I would highly recommend switching to the o-ring exhaust flange if you don't have one of those already. For about $20, you can say goodbye to spooge coming out of the cylinder/head pipe junction. Part numbers are listed at: http://www.geocities.com/aa21830/Spooge.html
