Gosselaar wipes out Thain, then visa-versa

Just before the commercial between 125 & 250 mains, they showed Gosselaar retaliate by running full-speed into Thain---IN THE PITS.:scream:

The announcers either didn't see it, or ignored it. They later show Thain being escorted off the grounds by some Yamaha personnel. I think these guys were pissed.

1. If you are going to post results of a race, put something in the title that spells that fact out. A simple example would be: Houston SX Results.

2. Don't use a title that will give away the results of a race. An example of what NOT to do: WooHoo! RC wins the BFE Arenacross!

If you figured out the A1 results from that , I'm backin' off--because you probably know what I'm thinking right now.:p

nephron, go back and watch what happened. Thian rammed Gosselaar in the pits. Its hard to see with all the people standing around, but they sure did cut away from it really fast. It was ignored by the announcers. The AMA will probably due the same, unless they decide to put a stop to this kind of crap. Just what we need, is another hot headed Frenchman. Grosselaar did banzi through that last whoop section. But, re-watching the race on tape as Thain proceeds through the last whoop section, he drifts to the left side. To me it looked like Gosselaar thought there was room to shot past Thian. There wasn't as we all saw. Thats part of racing. Travis Preston was in the right place at the right time once agian. Sure was a interesting first race to say the least!

It looked to me like Thain pulled up slow then just popped the clutch enough to knock Gosselar down. They immediately panned the camera away, so we couldn't see what else happened. Nothing like a little rubbing to get the season started! I'm guessing Thain will be fined, but hopefully he's not kicked off the team.

Accidental? I hope your BS'n Okie. That was a full fledged, hunt em' out, T-bone. I loved it. I thought Thain lost a little speed in the whoops and Gosselar was haulin the mail. His closure rate on Thain was just a bit too much. Maybe it's those new smaller brakes Honda went to that is to blame. I think Thain was actually going after his brakes. Regardless, Bubba looked to be the fastest when he was on both wheels. It looked like Gosselar's bobble in the whoops that was, in my humble opinion, the reason Bubba crashed, came back around with Thain. I love Supercross, feels like the first day of school...

Thain is a coward. He T-Boned Gosselaar because he is not man enough to confront him face to face. Hopefully, Yamaha and the AMA will not only fine him but make him ride the pine next week. Oh yeah, I hope what ABC didn't show was Gosselaar waiting for Thain to take his helmet off and then dotting his eye and then watching the frenchman cry.

Watching when the camera panned to the rear view it looked like Thain drifted to the left and didn't hold his line and actually ran into Gosselaar. From the other angle it didn't look the same. Doesn't make sense for either one of them to do something stupid so I'll call it an accident. I didn't see what happened in the pits but when I get my tape back I look at it again.

The ramming after the race cost Thain $1,000. Seems like a waste of money to me. Thain needs to learn to control the French temper.

These are a bunch of guys making a living by playing in the dirt with motorcycles. I don't think growing up is part of the equation.

The kind of money some of these guys earn ( and they do earn it ) as professionals, they should act like a pro, not like some 13 yr old kid who had a bad day at the practice track.

$ 1000 fine is a joke, add a couple of race suspensions to that and they'll think twice. ( or should I say a TIME OUT for the little chit )
