has anyone ever drilled and tapped in grease nipples on their linkage pivots / swing arm brgs. it makes sense , just keep pumping in new grease to flush out the old stuff ,water and crap.

My DRZ came with nipples on the s/a and linkages, very handy for top ups, but I still pulled it all down for the first greasing.
Maybe look at the DRZ and see if you can do yours the same way.
Good luck.

Watch you don’t put them where they will get wiped off from suspension movement (obvious) or a rock, which will leave a hole for water to get in. Don’t ask me how I know.

But the correct size blind rivet helps fill the hole again. ;)

Ochster's put them on his linkage. It looks very clean and professional (like all his work). Maybe he'll poke his head in here and offer up some tips. :)

Yeah mine looked clean & professional until I tried to offer the grease gun up to it, crawled under the bike looking for it & ‘there is was Gone’.
