Hi all, nice to be here :)

I am in the process of restoring a 1989 KDX 200 and have been hunting for a good seat foam/cover. I saw on the Just KDX page that some riders are using KX500 seat covers. Do they fit well?

Will the KX500 seat foam match the KDX seat base and the point where the seat meets the tank? From photos, it looks like the KX500 seat does not rise as high up on the tank as the KDX.

Ceet has standard and high seats for the 500, only standard for the KDX.

The standard ceet replacement for the KDX is much stiffer, therefore, taller because the foam doesn't squish down when you sit on it. I have used kx 500 seat cover in the past with no problems.
