In having purchased a Scotts stabilizer, I became aware that the cross bar on my Renthals wont accomodate the installation without having to resort to bending the cross bar a bit. Has anyone had to perform this crude modification, and if so what was the means used? Or did you just purchase those Renthals that feature the specially bent cross bar that is designed specifically for use of the stabilizer?
Just take the arm off of the stabilizer and flip it 180 deg. This will allow the short end of the stabilizer to fit under the bars. I had the same problem on my suzuki a couple years ago. It solved the problem.
