GWO, Triple clamp mounting gives a very secure and easy location to mount the bark busters. Most riders shorten their bars to run tight woods, but it reduces the amount of surface area to mount the front clamps. A lot depends as to what size bars you are using. If you use regular bars with the same outside diameter over the entire distance of the bars then its easier to use any system. If you run pro tapers or other wide bars they have different diameters depending on the make and how short you cut your bars. The kits for the wide bars work okay, but you need to find the right front clamps for the make of bars you are using. Pro taper front mounts don't fit my shortened Magura bars on my KTM. I went with front clamps designed for the Magura bars from EE and they work great.
Scott Summers has been running the triple clamp method for years with great success. I modified an old super vintage Husky by bolting a hand made bracket that was about four inches long, using three holes. The two upper triple clamp bolts went thru the lower two holes of the bracket and the bark buster was bolted thru the upper hole and it worked great. Had to get longer clamp bolts but they came from a local hardware store.
The triple clamp mounted bark busters just give us an additional way to enjoy our sport.
