Damn the one-week lead time :bang:

I tried to stay out of here, couldn't resist.

along Chili's line of thinking . . .

Maybe its time to look at a different way of passing out the points. I like the idea of points for leading a lap, laps led, and maybe even for the overall. Even if it's just one point for each thing, that would be cool, and make things a bit interesting.

Wow..Just checked the interval for the second moto..44 seconds :whoa:

I noticed RC had a faster average time in the first moto as well...Well even Reed snuck one in last year...No biggie.

Ya, when RC ate some terra firma, just like this race.

RC has to fall down first to get beat. That's not to say JS won't beat him straight up a few times this summer !!

I don't think Stewart will beat him "straight up" this summer. Thats just my guess.

I also think Reed should visit his homeland more often and stay longer...starting now. He's been doing nothing but crying for the past 2 years anyway. What race was that last year where he was in that first turn pile up and started having a temper tantrum throwing bikes around like it was everyone's fault but his. **** happens ya know? What about expecting the guy in front of you to just pull over because "Duh, hey it's me Chad Reed???" Get out of my way? Then call the guy a chump because he was out there trying to win a race like everyone else? Reeds a ****head and needs to grow up. he can just figure that he's done winning anymore titles too at least here in America anyway. Maybe he can be the somebody he wants to be back home.

Anyone know what happened to Ben Townley and Villopoto? What site are you getting the info??

It will be interesting how many times JS wins the first moto and RC the second moto. JS seems faster to me while RC has fittness and mental toughness.

If you guys think Bubba can't beat RC straight up outdoors you are just in denial. Like it or not Bubba is coming like a frieght train and WILL own SX and MX. I just hope to see some good racing outdoors like we did in SX. I still like RC for the title, but i by no means think that Bubba is not capable of taking it. AS I said b4 the only difference will be conditioning, If bubba has that worked out this year we should see some wire to wire races. :yeehaw: :yeehaw:

And Okie quit being so mean to us RC fans. :p

I'm in denial. Of course he's going to own it now, RC is stepping out after this outdoor series and only racing select events. Thats good for Chad Reed too, he can step up a rung on the ladder too and be #2.

Townley is still recuperating from total knee reconstruction after a pre-SX wreck. Optimistic predictions have him back in the line uo for Southwick.

That's the slowest freight train I've ever seen (2 years). No doubt, JS be the man in the future. He will beat RC "straight up" on numerous motos. So will RC beat JS !

Right now, I think RC is gunna get another National title. But, it will be close, like SX.

Next year begins the most boring era in MX/SX racing, with JS taking everything.

by that logic we are coming off the most boring era ever, no way Stewart will ever beat RC's streak.

Great results for the Aussies!

With regard to the CR's "side show" comment, in the interview I listened to I thought he was refering to the additional races (e.g Jeremy McGrath Invitational) not the Outdoor Nationals.

So what's the big deal? Side-show means "A small show offered in addition to the main attraction". He considers Supercross to be the main attraction. That's his opinion because that is what he prefers to ride. Others consider Supercross to be the side-show. Merely a difference of opinion. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.
