Magazine bashing has been voiced several times before on other sites, but because this forum is inhabited by those who by the very act of owning a KDX are pragmatic- and yes, in some instances cheap, I feel that a magazine who promotes this same approach is deserving of recognition. That said, I applaud Dirt Rider Magazine for its monthly article towards upgrading old bikes for trail and race. Yea, the rebuilds are a bit over done, but even then the writer concedes that not everything advocated is necessary. To offer a more rationale approach to a sporting endeavor that it can devour your disposable income is deserving of praise.
