Serious runners wear running clothes. Many people wear nothing.
Alot of people wear outfits like that. Couple of years ago there was 50 women dressed like Jabba the Hut's slave, Princess Leaha(sp). They ran as a group.

Evidently some forums allow inline pics, others just allow a link.

If I was guessing I would say that it had something to do with forums that STM's and subscribers can get to... but I'm not a very good guesser most of the time.
