Great hearing from you Wolf Child. I only got out once this fall...had a great ride with TCTrailrider and some of his buddies.

Spent most of the summer enjoying the H2O on Lake St. Clair.

Have a great holiday season!

thanx Barry. you too.

Well since USFS has officially screwed up the "known" trail systems in ONF since I last lived here. I've been back to the forrest 3 times this week remapping the new layouts.

It's tough enough since I'm not really sure where all the new loops are yet. but they have unofficially changed some of the forrest road numbers used as land marks so maps dont always ( read: almost never) match up.

They are no longer using the "open ride" format that has always been in place here. They are now using a format similar to MI with structured loops. the down side to this is single track is no more. it's all quad trails or jeep trails. as usual, Plated bikes have free reign on all open trails to motor vehicles. Non plated must stick to the "loops".

Another change is parking. you can no longer park where ever you like. parking is only allowed at designated staging areas. Big scrub is off limits to everyone except campers, but the "centenial loop" is still connected to the campground, so that is a good thing to people that wish to camp and stage out of their camp sites. the best part about this is that the power lines along the main road in ( right next to the camp ground) are now off limits to ALL traffic. No more all night quadtard tractor pulls while people are trying to sleep or just chill around the fire.

So there you have it.

As stated to Mr. Marsh. I have other ride possibilities open to me, that are a little less "cedar creek-ish". so if any of y'all feel like getting some riding in if you head down this way, give me a shout and I'll get something together.

Peace out and enjoy your snow. It was 65 in ONF today while I was riding with Speed bump. :nener:
