HELP! Cr85 won't start.

So I rebuilt my 85 awhile ago and put it all together. After about 20 min it crapped out and died. No spark, so I replaced the stator and now have spark! But now it won't run.... Got it to start for 3 seconds when I push started it a bunch but can't keep it running... Did the usual of cleaning the plug and carb out but still no luck!
Please help really want to ride soon!

You Know I told someone once that my Killswitch was broken so instead of thinking of stalling it out I tried pulling the boot off the plug after a whole good! 10 seconds of getting shocked I got the boot off it still ran for a second and then shut down but back to the other story He said that was no Bueno for the engine I dont remember asking why or what could happen but maybe when your stator went the same effect happened, to what he was talking about. He might be full BS but he seemed to kno a great deal about these engines. just food for thought man.
