help overheating

i have a 93 kdx 240 (200 with the big bore kit) and last weekend riding the thing just guzzeled water had to carry bottles and refill rads about every 30 minutes. have never had a over heating problem rads are good head gasket was perfect exhust was clean no coolant burning. top end rebuild 30 minutes of riding hard coolant gone air temp was about 75 and humidity 60% any ideas

If all that has changed in your setup was only time between rides and this happened, I'd say that you have a partially clogged jet that's leaning out causing the overheating.

Check the duct behind the filter for dirt, and if there is then clean the carb good and all the jet passageways. This would of course mean that your filter is not sealing properly.

Hey i have the same problem with my kdx 200 After about 15 minutes, the water starts to boil. I was wondering if you solved your problem and can tell me what was the solution.
