This received today from the AMA:
We need the Multiple Use Community to write letters to Bill Postmus, the
Supervisor of the 1st District of San Bernardino County.
Americans For Forest Access (AFFA) have been on top of this and have their
foot in the door with SB Co. and the Board of Supervisors. These folks are
ready to assert their RS2477 rights and need the support letters from all of
us.
The word I have, is that most, if not all of the other counties (especially
the rural Counties) are waiting and watching to see what SB Co. will do and
if they assert, they will follow suit.
Therefore all of us that live outside SB Co. need to write a letter to Bill
Postmus and ask him and SB Co. to assert their RS2477 Right-Of-Way (ROW)
rights on all roads in the County.
Those that live in SB Co. need to send this letter to their respective
Supervisor and send a Cc of this letter to Bill Postmus. Bill is taking the
lead and we need to give him the support he needs to help pull along the
other 4 Supervisors. One of these folks is with Bill and the others are
waffling.
