hi, case in point is i can get a deal on a oem honda piston for my 02' cr250. the part number is 13102-ksk-670. if you look on service honda's parts fiche it shows that this piston fits the 02,03,and 04 cr250s if i read it correctly. but is this piston an oversize or not? do honda even offer oem oversize pistons? cheers.

Call the guys over at Midwest Action Cycle. They are Honda specialists, very friendly, and can tell you what you need to know.

cheers for that, i will send them an email and ask. after asking around i believe that its not an oversize piston but it is a 'b' piston as opposed to an 'a'.

Back in the days of sleeves all OEM pistons where offered in Std. and oversizes.

If your bike has a plated cylinder then the OEM piston would be a standard size. I don't recall Honda offering two sizes for plated cylinders back then.
