HELP with timing setup?

ok stupid question....got 82 kdx 175 how to set timing if bike wont run if kick started only runs if i pull it with my truck,then it just runs $#$#&^%^%.....(bad) any help thanks

Did you do a compression test?

yes compression good 110 motor has new top and bottom end but the kid i bought it from didnt know how too set timing

110 is kinda low..

I'd check it out.
