helpw/xr100 timing

Ive got a 94 xr100 that Im rebuilding.
The "T" on the flywheel lines up with the V point on the case, but where does the O on the cam sprocket go? Straight up or straight down?

Can't remember if it goes up or down but, with the piston at top dead center, both lobes of the cam should be pointing down towards the piston. Then look at the O on the sprocket and center it.

Hope that makes sense???

The bolts that hold the cam sprocket on should be parallel with the head

Been a long time since Ive done a 4 stroke...

Anyway, finally picked one up for the wife and kids....ought to be a blast.
