Just stumbled upon this forum and so far it looks to be a good one. I am looking forward to some good discussions in the future.
Currently, my "good" bike is an 06 WR450, which is in a million pieces with a bad motor. Since that bike self destructed, I have lost faith in 4strokes and gotten bitten again by the smoker bug and got back on my 00RM250. I have also been picking up a couple broke 2strokes cheap and fixing them cheap and easy. My latest is an 84 CR500 which I took out for its maiden voyage yesterday. Its not exactly tuned up perfectly yet, but all I can say about those big bore 2strokes is WOW.
I found you guys by looking into info on a 91 WR250. If I can pick that up for the price I want, my goal is to get it plated and use it on some of our local dual sport rides. It wont be too practical, but it sure will stir up some conversation!
