hmm is this really worth it?

Ok well I found someone who wants to buy my 2004 KX250F for 3,000 dollars... He has a 2001 Suzuki RM125 which he is willing to trade for my bike plus he would give me 1,600 dollars cash, which would mean that I would be buying his bike for 1,400 dollars its in ok condition it needs the top end rebuilt and the clutch adjusted.. It has an fmf rev pipe with a fmf power core 2 silencer, it also has an after market front and rear sprocket, and it has some carbon fiber reeds. I rode his 125 around a bit and it seems fine, but I can't compare it to any other 125 two strokes because I have never ridden any other 125 two strokes. Does this sound like a good deal? Or should I just get the 3,000 dollars and not trade for his bike?

but if you shop around . . .

I got my 02 RM 125 for $1500 in May 2005.

I'd at least try to get him to give you another $75-100 to pay for the new top end.
