Honda CR Graphics Kits???

I had seen a post about someone saying that had an 02-05 Honda CR250 graphics kit will fit on an 00-01. Well at least the rad shrouds, with a little cutting off of one end. Has anyone done this and has pics, or know of someone doing this that might have pics?? I have an 01 and am a little frustrated about how soon they forget about us 00-01 owners and cater to the 02-05 owners. I'm not upset enough where I will go out and buy new plastics and put an 02 body on my 01. Any info will be appreciated greatly.

Thanks for pointing those out to me. I kinda like the throttle jockey woody graphics. But even still, there isn't the selection for the 00-01 as there is for the 02-05. Example: AMSoil kit, SUBWAY, Troy Lee Designs, Honda of Troy. All of you CR owners have to agree, there is a much much large selection of graphics for the 02-05. Someone was talkin in another forum of trimming a little off of an 02-05 rad shroud graphic to fit the 00-01, just wondering if anyone has done it and how much needs to be trimmed??

i feel them same way about the graphics issue, i have an 01 cr125 and don't like the fact that most of the kits i find that i like are for only 02 and up.

A lot of it will be how succesful the particlar model years were... the aftermarket mfg's know well how many potential customers for any given make (brand/model) there are out there and offer product accordingly.

i did a complete swap to the 02-05 body on my 01cr. it really wasnt that bad. 2 welds, a homemade mount for the lower shroud bolt and a mod. 02-05 airbox.email me if you want some pics... :cool:

What was the total cost for you to swap everything over??

the total cost was $15 for the tank, and $30 for the 3mm carbonfiber sheet i used for the lower shroud mount.i had everything else laying around the garage...

So I would prob be looking at about $150 for a new set of plastics for the 02-05 and the tank and mounting hardware correct?? I might have to consider it, it will enable me to use a lot more graphics kits that's for sure.

e-b-a-y might be a better choice.you could get everything you need for around $50 total.let me know if you need help with the shroud mount. i'll email you some pics. :cool:

man you should try getting a decent set of graphics for a cr500 pretty much no one makes them anymore and the ones that do hardly look better than stock :(
