honda XR80 1987 spark plug

I have a few questions about my xr80 1987 model. The spark plug keeps goin out and i don't know what to do to fix it. Can anybody help? my fuel line is cracked so im replacing it is their and easy way or trick to connect the fuel lines they're very stuburn. By the way this dirt bike has been sitting for about half a year without running but the spark plug problem was happening before i stopped riding it. any help or input would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Going to need a bit more info on the spark plug issue.

Universal lubricant is pretty good at helping fuel & vent lines slip on. (aka spit)
