can anyone give me a horsepower rating on the 03' kdx 220?

That's 26Kw (Kilowatts) and equates to about 35.5 Hp (horsepower) according to my KDX220 suppliment to the factory shop manual.

I think Mac had it right at around 26 HP.

Just for reference, Acutemp has a 200 that has been ported to about Stage VII, and has published dyno curves. I think the best run indicated 33 to 34 HP.

actually skip might be right. the kdx220 service manual supplement says : maximum horsepower is 27kW(37PS) @7 500 rpm [/QUOTE] and if you go to http://www.tdiclub.com/misc/conversions.html and convert 27kW to HP you get 36.2. I always thought that the kdx had about 30 HP so im surprised
