Call Cannondale, they did it, oh wait they went out of business ;) All joking besides, I think that C'dale did a pretty good job of working one out, another year of development and I think they would have had it nailed.

Optimum the company that helped Cannondale finally sort out their fuel injection has an EFI kit for YZFs priced at $2,725.00

Product description from the Optimum website :

This kit gives you everything you need to Fuel Inject your Yamaha 4-stroke. Find out how Fuel Injection improves everything about your Yamaha – from starting to anti-stalling to the ultimate in throttle response! Using the same technology seen on the impressive new Cannondale machines, we provide everything you need: the replacement wire harness, ECU, brackets, fuel pump, injectors, sensors and software to reconfigure your bike for Fuel-Injected GP Control. Our ProCal software provides a spreadsheet-like interface to all Ignition and fuel parameters so you can fine-tune your maps. Like the Programmable Ignition software, it provides a full Fault monitoring system, a Throttle Position calibration tool, and a real-time engine monitoring mode with access to all key engine parameters. We supply our own dyno-tested FI maps as well. This product requires a Compaq iPAQ and an appropriate serial cable. For more information www.optimum-power.com
