How do I jump?

This may sound a bit silly, but I have no idea how to jump on my Honda MTX 80. I am going to a track on wednesday and I need to know how I am meant to jump the jumps. I mean, is it just a case of riding over it as fast as possible? And does your body have to be in a certin position? And is there a website where i could learn about MX techniques?

I am not sure if i am looking in the wrong place, but when I do do a search I get loads of websites for private courses. Could someone please just point me in the right direction?

Do a search in the DRN forums, in the upper right hand side there is a little gray button that says search. Just type in jump or jumping or how to jump and see what turns up.
