Hey i'm new to here and the whole riding scene. I just went out a few times on my friends bike and loved it so i'm getting one. Should I get a 125 or a 250? I don't really know the difference with weight and size and I know I don't want a weak bike. I found this one on ebay and I think it looks ok, take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks a lot.

First, welcome to DRN. I little more information about you will help. What do you plan to ride, MX, trails? How much do you weight? Also, don't forget to budget for safety gear, helmet, goggles, boots etc.

At 6'-1" and 165 your in the same range as Travis Preston. He was successful in the 125 ranks but is better suited to a 250, then again he's a pro racer. One thing that won't happen with the 250 is that you won't be crying about wanting more power any time soon. Lot's of people really enjoy 125s because you need to be more aggressive with them and they are lighter. If I had a clue as to what a "mostyle trail" was maybe I could help but alas I'm old school where you have single track, MX/SX, and desert as riding environments.
