Florida - Mini O's

The Mini O's (aka Winter National Olympics) in Gainesville, FL, over Thanksgiving week is the largest amatuer motorcycle racing event in the world. Last year they had over 4,900 entries. The main reason it is that largest is because there are no qualifiers - you just show up and race. They have races from Monday-Saturday on 3 different tracks, GP, SX, and MX. We're leaving on Friday to race it next week for the first time.

Thats great nikki let us all know how it was. Do you have to race all 3 tracks to get a overall or is it you pick one and race that one ? Sounds like its gonna be a little dissorganized. Ill be hitting that track next year if its any good.

Honda Pilot -

Actually - from what I hear they are VERY organized at the Mini O's. This is the 30th year that they have had this event. If you want an overall - you have to race all three tracks. The GP races are on Monday. The SX races are on Tuesday & Wednesday. And the MX races are on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. You don't have to race all three, though - we're probably just SX and MX. It is definately an awesome place - the motocross track is at the national level and the supercross track is a perfect stadium-style supercross track. I'll definately post on how everything goes two weeks from today!
