I need new friction plates for my 99 125. The steel plates and springs are ok. I can't find anyone that sells them other than the dealers and those I've called only have clutch kits. I found a company that says they make the friction plates but will only sell to Husqvarna dealers.

Anyone know where I can find friction plates, or at least a better price on a clutch kit than the dealer.

On my 96 I there were only OEM plates, but you should be able to buy just a set of frictions. Check with summit cycles in MO, Sport cycles? in Florida, or Hal's Husky. You can get the numbers at Husqvarnausa.com.

Summit only had kits, but Sportcycles in Miami had a set of just friction plates for $59, not bad.

Use Honda CR plates, they are the same on the CR 125 and 250 Husqvarna.
They are cheaper and much easier to find. I'd just get something like an EBC fiber kit for a Honda CR 125 and you will be ready to go. Fast By Ferracci has a Fiber kit too for the Husky 125, but as of a few months ago they were on backorder.
