I need a new clutch.....??

My clutch lever wont engage and disengage the clutch. I was told i might need a new clutch.....i need a second opinion. When i took the cable off the part where it attaches to the engine would not catch..if u turn it manually you can feel it hitting something but doesnt spring back at all...

sounds about right just drain the oil and see what it looks like chunks come out take the side cover off and look it over and see if you snapped a plate or what

But do i havew to replace all the plates if many or just one....i was told i might need to get a metal plate, expansion plate, and spring...

The same thing is happening to me, the clutch arm wont spring back.

how do you fix the clutch arm so that it springs back again.....?????
