im confused what year is my bike

i was told my bike is a 95 from the kid i bought it from
the bill of sale says 95 a invoice he gave me with the vin # on it says 95 but i think its really a 90 can anyone help me
i dont want to be buying parts that dont work
vin# is js1rf14axl2100589
would a 95 motor fit a 90 frame ?

Based on that VIN it is a 1990. Any motor will fit any frame with some work :)

cool so i got a little screwed on the deal stupid me oh well
bike is still in great shape
now maybee i can get stuff for it and it will fit :bang:
going to re check the frame number tommorow
and then find engine numbers
