ok so i have a 95 cr250r and i need to change the transmission oil and motor oil. on the bottom of the bike there is only one drain plug. which one is this for and where is the other one. sorry if this is a dumb question but im kinda new to woking on dirtbike thanks :bang:

it's a 2 stroke.

They only have transmission oil. All of the oiling in the cylinder & crank case are done via the premix.

Drain the trans, refill with the proper amount of oil and you should be good to go.

Maybe this will help explain:

Your crankshaft is sectioned off from the transmission. The oil that lubricates your clutch, gears, etc. NEVER touches the crankshaft.

You mix oil with your fuel, the premix. This oil is resistant to burning, and coats the piston, cylinder, piston rings, wrist pin, crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, etc.

There should be only one drain plug. This drains your gear box. You should invest in a shop manual for your bike. You could learn a ton just from reading it, and asking questions on here.
