Where was Michael Byrne? I didn't hear anything about him in the 125's. Is he out with injury?

Looks like RC is getting his winning streak back...again. C'mon Chad!

The Daytona SX is the weekend of the 8th correct? And isnt it the only SX that isnt aired a week late? The Indy SX was last weekend and I scanned the guide for this comming weekend and only found airings for the Daytona race. When is the Indianapolis race on???

...I don't know 2smoke. I'm not 'swapping' the other way, as marcus said, but go to SXGP and look at Reed's laptimes. You can draw up the final results for the race, then click on the riders' names. Check the lap times out--RC had a few solid 46-47's, pulled out front, checked up and just cruised. But look at Reed's--he gets a bad start, 48's, 47's, then during the last 3-4 laps, 46's. UNBELIEVABLE. I'd look to see him win a few more by the end of the season, just by virtue of his speed, conditioning, and desire-- but you just have to hand it to RC. Champs always find a way to win--that guy is like the Montana of racing, because he always finds a way to win, whenever there is a possibility of it. CR is just getting used to the scene over here, and will even be better next year. The problem is, JBS is coming....

I have some new thinking on this topic-look at reeds results compared to RC 1st season-he has blown Rc away-however im not convinced he will necessary get better next year as he might loose heart.Another thing , this season RC has not got a massive speed advantage(or fitness) but he is winning-why? he is normally within the top 3 of lap times and his starts do it for him(yes he can come from far back but he would crash more, if it was more often)now i noticed he seems to do the same thing on his starts-get out the gate ok then he weaves slightly and drifts over to the right to make room then as the 1st corner comes he moves back across to hug the inside-hes already made room for himself to slot in and then he normally is around 3rd-moves up in lap or 2, then goes hard for 10 laps.By this time he has a good few seconds lead and just does enough to win.He is one smart cookie.

Is Montana good or bad? I guess growing up there might give me different perceptions of the state than what some may have.

Ahhh Im no expert on US sporting icons but I think Nephron's post on Montana was to do with Joe Montana a quarterback in pro football.......if Im wrong Im sure Ill find out soon enuff!! But in response to Nephron's point of lap times, there's no doubt Mr Reed has the speed but I believe the difference is the way Carmichael comes thru traffic.....Reed has a much harder time making the passes up to the front than Carmichael....RC seems to have that pretty much nailed. He doesn't lose much (when he stays on the bike) coming thru the pack.
