I have been having trouble producing continuous spark to the plug on this bike. the plug boot and spark plug are new I noticed the lighting coil was burnt so I removed it along with the wiring harness to all non- running areas such as lights blinkers battery ect. now I am left with a simple wiring set up like a motocross bike. I bought a used coil and am getting the same intermittent spark. It will spark for a few kicks then it will completly quit until I give it a 10 minute break and kick for a few more times nice blue spark then nothing. it has the same symptoms now as it did before I removed any wires or lighting coil. could that burnt lighting coil have fried my cdi box? is there any way I can test my cdi? my cdi is wired directly from my stator I do not even have the keyed or stop swtch hooked up. all wires from stator to cdi test positive for continuity.
