You're seeing the capital of an oil rich nation. You're not seeing the rural areas where thousands and thousands of people have died in natural disasters because of the poor housing conditions. The news keeps saying that 70% of Iran is under the age of 30. If this is true what happened to all of the old people?

That could be due to population growth ... but it's also got to do at least in part to medical care, living conditions, etc.

Yup, Iran is the place to be! Unless of course you are female. Or not a Muslim. Or not part of the government.

Oakie, there probably is not so much entertainment going on in Iran. I believe it is like prison. You can fight or fornicate.

The city looks very pretty. I imagine the mountains have some good dirt bike riding. I wonder if there is a Honda-Suzuki of Bagdad???

My Political Questio 4 you.. must read to the end...

I can show you some pictures of a Doo Doo Sandwich and may it look apealing. What your not seeing, smelling or feeling is the many thought and feeling the Iranian people have again the WEST.... Mostly stemming from the religious Extremist that runs there life style and culture, and brain washing their children.

All young people are driven to be free... from their terrible twos where they want to walk on their own... throw temper tantrums, or have their own candy, Young people want to be free.

It is the teaching of oppression and the acceptance of it that has driven those societies to where they are today!

When those societies look at the West with its rampit freedome, it builds envy, gelousy(of not having it in their country), and frear (of losing their society) in most of them.

The older generation preaches harder and the younger generation (men mostly) follow. Women have very little choice and do what they are told!

80% Those living in Iran/Iraq are just like you and I. Just want to live and let live. Watch their children grow, hanging out. watching movies. and so on.

It is those extremist who are pusing the butttons that concerning the WEST. Those who preach "Jihad" or kill all non muslims that are the problem. you might recall the germans in the late 30's. we are at a point where we are faced with a power where we either wait for the enevidable or take a stand to stop it.

ASK YOUR SELF...
If I could push a button in 1938 to stop the halocaust would I do it?

They all took up the radical muslim fundamentalist view and blew themselves up in suicide bombings before they got to be old.
