Well the snow is starting to melt, so I decided it was time to get the CR ready for another season :) I mentioned to my buddy eariler in the week that I wanted to give my bike a tune-up/overhaul, since he is mechanic I figured I could use some of his knowledge, anyways I get a call EARLY in the morning and he wants to start.
To make a long story short, we tore apart the linkage and cleaned and regreased everything, took apart the stearing stem and greased it (which had barely any grease in it, and my bike is an 01, grr I should have got at it earlier), cleaned the bike pretty good (airbox, boot etc) got everything retorqued, tightened, loc-tite, anit-seized YOU NAME IT. Even swapped out my warped FMF pipe :)
It's a good feeling when you know your bike is PREMIUM, ready to rip, with everything perfect :)
ps, We even set my sag, When the snow melts in another week or two it's time to let er rip:aj:
