Does anyone have any suggestions on jetting for an 03 RM 250? I have a Pro-Circuit pipe/silencer, No Toil air filter, run 91 octane pump mixed w/Yamalube @32:1. I live in Arizona, about 1500' elevation, it's currently in the 60's and 70's daily. I went 1 step leaner on the pilot from a 48 to a 45, one position leaner on the clip, and I am way rich from stock on the main, from a 175 to a 185/190. The problem I have is the bike runs very lean. Most of the riding I do is on motorcross tracks that are 3rd and 4th gear midrange to full throttle(sometimes). Any info would help.

maybe i'm reading this wrong.....but...... are you trying to jet down from a rich condition or fatten it up from a lean condition?

I am trying to richen up the mixture from mid to top/ 1/2 to full throttle. The bottom is good. Everything I have read so far on jetting for this bike says to go leaner than stock, but I feel that I would risk blowing up the motor. I have also read to change out the slide to a leaner one, but once again I think it would harm the engine.
